Delete old tweets for me: what “done for you” actually means

Done for you means you never open a deletion tool: you fill in a two-minute form, sign in with X once, and we run every deletion ourselves.

You do not pick filters. You do not sit watching a progress bar, or come back an hour later because X paused you. We read the form, build the job list, show you what is about to go, wait for your yes, run it, and send a report with the final counts.

Two things stay with you. The form, and that single sign-in, because X will only accept it from the person who owns the account.

How the cleanup works, step by step

A cleanup runs in five steps, and nothing gets deleted until you have read the list and replied yes.

   Pick a tier and tell us what goes.

   A two-minute intake form: handle, what goes, what stays. No payment on the form. We send you a payment link once we have read it.

   You sign in with X on getxwipe.com.

   One click, standard OAuth, on our site. This part only you can do, and that is deliberate. We never ask for your password and we never ask for a 2FA code. If anyone offering a cleanup service asks you for either, walk away.

   We back up first, if you want one.

   X lets you download your full archive. It takes a few hours to arrive and it is the only copy you will ever get of the old posts. We walk you through requesting it and we wait for it to land before anything is deleted. Say no and we skip it.    We build the jobs and show you the list.

   Counts per category, your keep-rules applied, date ranges spelled out. You read it and reply yes. Nothing is deleted before that reply.

   We run it and report back.

   Most jobs finish inside 48 hours. Big ones take longer because X caps how fast anything, including X itself, can delete. When it is done you get a report with the final counts, the date range covered, and a note of anything that could not be removed.

Then we disconnect. Your access token is revoked the moment the report goes out.

Tweet deletion service pricing: 2,000 to 50,000 items

Pricing is by item count, not by month: $99 up to 2,000 items, $349 up to 10,000, $899 for a full wipe of up to 50,000.

Priority start, +$99. Your job jumps the queue and begins within 4 hours of sign-in instead of waiting for the next slot. It does not make X delete faster, because nothing does.

Over 50,000 items, or multiple accounts: write to us and we will quote it.

Do it yourself vs hire someone to delete your tweets

Hiring someone to delete your tweets is worth it at two points: when you are out of patience, and when you are past about 45,000 items and the credit packs cost more than we do.

At 2,000 items the packs cost $49 and this costs $99. You are paying $50 not to think about it.

At 50,000 the maths flips. Buying 50,000 credits in packs runs to $990. Full wipe is $899, and we run it.

Cleaning up Twitter before a job search or background check

Recruiters do not need special tools to read your account, so a pre-hiring cleanup has to cover more than posts: likes are public by default, and so are replies, reposts and who you follow.

That is the job most of our bookings are. Somebody has an interview on Thursday and an account that has been running since university. If the date is that close, add priority start and the run begins within 4 hours of your sign-in rather than waiting for the next slot.
