Twitter cleanup service: we delete your X history for you
Twelve years of posts. One weekend before the background check. You do not want to learn a tool tonight, you want the timeline empty. Sign in with X, tell us what goes, and we run the whole cleanup for you.
From $99. You keep control of the account the entire time. We never see your password.
Who hires a Twitter cleanup service
- You have a job interview or a background check coming and there is a 2016 version of you still posting.
- You are stepping into a public role and someone is going to scroll all the way down.
- Your brand changed name, owner or direction, and the old account reads like a different company.
- Something ended. You want the receipts gone and you do not want to sit there tapping delete 4,000 times.
- You already tried the DIY packs, got halfway, and lost the thread.
If you are comfortable running it yourself, you do not need us. The self-serve tool starts at $4 and 10 deletions are free.
Delete old tweets for me: what “done for you” actually means
Done for you means you never open a deletion tool: you fill in a two-minute form, sign in with X once, and we run every deletion ourselves.
You do not pick filters. You do not sit watching a progress bar, or come back an hour later because X paused you. We read the form, build the job list, show you what is about to go, wait for your yes, run it, and send a report with the final counts.
Two things stay with you. The form, and that single sign-in, because X will only accept it from the person who owns the account.
How the cleanup works, step by step
A cleanup runs in five steps, and nothing gets deleted until you have read the list and replied yes.
- 1
Pick a tier and tell us what goes.
A two-minute intake form: handle, what goes, what stays. No payment on the form. We send you a payment link once we have read it.
- 2
You sign in with X on getxwipe.com.
One click, standard OAuth, on our site. This part only you can do, and that is deliberate. We never ask for your password and we never ask for a 2FA code. If anyone offering a cleanup service asks you for either, walk away.
- 3
We back up first, if you want one.
X lets you download your full archive. It takes a few hours to arrive and it is the only copy you will ever get of the old posts. We walk you through requesting it and we wait for it to land before anything is deleted. Say no and we skip it. If you would rather handle that part tonight, here is how to download your X archive first.
- 4
We build the jobs and show you the list.
Counts per category, your keep-rules applied, date ranges spelled out. You read it and reply yes. Nothing is deleted before that reply.
- 5
We run it and report back.
Most jobs finish inside 48 hours. Big ones take longer because X caps how fast anything, including X itself, can delete. When it is done you get a report with the final counts, the date range covered, and a note of anything that could not be removed.
Then we disconnect. Your access token is revoked the moment the report goes out.
What we do not do
We do not ask for your password.
Or your 2FA code, or your recovery email. The whole job runs on an OAuth token you grant and can revoke yourself at any time from X settings.
We do not read your DMs.
The DM archive job removes conversations. It does not open them. Nobody on our side sits there scrolling your messages.
We do not keep your data.
Posts are read to be deleted, not stored. When the report goes out, the token dies and the working list is cleared.
We do not post, follow, reply, or message anyone from your account.
Deletion only.
We do not undo deletions.
Nothing here is reversible, which is why step 3 exists and why step 4 waits for your yes.
Tweet deletion service pricing: 2,000 to 50,000 items
Pricing is by item count, not by month: $99 up to 2,000 items, $349 up to 10,000, $899 for a full wipe of up to 50,000.
| Small | Standard | Full wipe | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Items covered | Up to 2,000 items | Up to 10,000 items | Up to 50,000 items |
| Posts and reposts | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Likes | Add on request | Yes | Yes |
| Bookmarks | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Follows (mass unfollow) | No | Add on request | Yes |
| DM archive | No | Yes | Yes |
| Archive backup walkthrough | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Keep-rules (dates, pinned, chosen posts) | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Completion report | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Price | $99 | $349 | $899 |
Priority start, +$99. Your job jumps the queue and begins within 4 hours of sign-in instead of waiting for the next slot. It does not make X delete faster, because nothing does.
Over 50,000 items, or multiple accounts: write to us and we will quote it.
Do it yourself vs hire someone to delete your tweets
Hiring someone to delete your tweets is worth it at two points: when you are out of patience, and when you are past about 45,000 items and the credit packs cost more than we do.
| Credit packs | Done-for-you | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | $4 to $99 per pack | $99 to $899 |
| Who runs it | You | Us |
| Your time | An hour or two, spread over days | The intake form, then one reply |
| Setup mistakes | Yours to catch | Ours to catch |
| Older than 3,200 posts | You handle the archive upload | We handle it |
| Pre-run check on what is about to go | You are the check | Written list, your sign-off |
| Completion proof | Progress bar in the dashboard | Report with final counts |
| Free trial | 10 deletions | None |
At 2,000 items the packs cost $49 and this costs $99. You are paying $50 not to think about it.
At 50,000 the maths flips. Buying 50,000 credits in packs runs to $990. Full wipe is $899, and we run it.
Cleaning up Twitter before a job search or background check
Recruiters do not need special tools to read your account, so a pre-hiring cleanup has to cover more than posts: likes are public by default, and so are replies, reposts and who you follow.
That is the job most of our bookings are. Somebody has an interview on Thursday and an account that has been running since university. If the date is that close, add priority start and the run begins within 4 hours of your sign-in rather than waiting for the next slot.
If you would rather do it yourself, we wrote the full pre-job-search Twitter checklist - what a recruiter actually sees, what to delete first, and how far back to go.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you need my Twitter password?+
No. You sign in yourself on getxwipe.com using X's own OAuth screen, which never shows us a password. You can revoke our access from your X settings at any moment.
How much does it cost to have someone delete your tweets?+
$99 for up to 2,000 items, $349 for up to 10,000, and $899 for a full wipe of up to 50,000. Priority start is another $99. Above 50,000 items we quote it.
Can you delete tweets older than 3,200?+
Yes. X's API only serves the most recent 3,200 posts, so older ones need your X archive file. We walk you through requesting it and we do the upload.
Do you delete likes and follows too, or only posts?+
Posts, reposts and bookmarks are in every tier. Likes are included from Standard up, and on request on Small. Mass unfollow comes with Full wipe, and on request on Standard.
How long does it take?+
We start within 24 hours of your sign-in and most accounts finish inside 48. X rate-limits deletions, so a 50,000-item account can run for several days.
Can I hire someone to clean up my Twitter before a job interview?+
Yes, and it is the most common reason people book. With priority start your job begins within 4 hours of sign-in, and most accounts are finished inside 48 hours.
Can I keep some posts?+
Yes. Common keep-rules are anything after a date, your pinned post, and a short list of specific links. You set them in the intake form and we show you the result before running.
Is any of this reversible?+
No. Deleted posts are gone from X for good. Download your archive first if there is any chance you will want them.
Do you offer refunds?+
Before the run starts, yes, in full. Once deletions begin there is no refund, because we cannot put anything back.
Will people see that I deleted things?+
X sends no notification. Replies to a deleted post may still exist on the other person's timeline, and third-party archives are outside anyone's control.
Are you affiliated with X?+
No. XWipe uses the public X API under X's terms. We are an independent tool.
Send us the handle. We will take it from there.
Pick a tier, fill the intake form, sign in once. The next thing you have to do is read a report.
